A translation memory (TM) is a database that stores sentences, paragraphs or sentence-like units (headings, titles or elements in a list) previously translated and verified to be correct. TM is a tool used to aid human translators to increase accuracy and efficiency. This database can be updated whenever a different or better translation term is desired. Related documents can be updated automatically by TBooster as well.
